Fiamē Naomi Mataʻafa is a Samoan politician and High Chiefess who became Samoa’s seventh Prime Minister in 2021, leading the FAST party. She is the daughter of Samoa’s first prime minister and the first woman to hold the position of Prime Minister in Samoa’s history. Formerly a member of the HRPP, she served in various ministerial roles before joining the FAST party in 2020 and becoming its leader in 2021. After winning the 2021 election, she faced a constitutional crisis before being confirmed as prime minister by Samoa’s Court of Appeal.
