Ali’imalemanu Alofa Tuuau is a Samoan politician and member of the Legislative Assembly of Samoa, representing the Human Rights Protection Party. Before entering politics, she worked as an accountant for various organizations. Tuuau was elected to Parliament in the 2016 Samoan general election, representing the constituency of Alataua West, and served as Chair of the Parliamentary Committee for Finance and Expenditure. She is known for her views on women’s empowerment and has criticized certain constitutional amendments. Tuuau lost her seat in the 2021 election but was later appointed to Parliament under the women’s quota after a by-election.
